If an Emergency Occurs
An "on- call" member of our staff is available 24 hours every day to respond to your call. As always, your child’s health is our primary concern and we are determined to provide the most immediate and comprehensive care available at anytime – day or night. You can reach our staff at any time by calling (716) 691-3400. At certain times of the evening you will reach an answering service that will place a page to the doctor “on-call”. Overnight, you will have the option of speaking to a triage nurse or asking for the doctor on call. If you have not had your call returned within one half hour, please call the answering service again and ask to have the page to the doctor repeated.
We encourage you to call us at all times for any urgent medical need. Our office has extended evening and weekend hours and can see you child for care immediately. If you child does need immediate attention in an Emergency Room, we can direct you to the facility that is best able to care for your child.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 911, or take your child to the nearest hospital. The hospital staff will begin treatment and contact us.
